As we head toward autumn, one of the city's coolest underground traditions is making its return. The Dear Diary Coffee Secret Show 2026 is officially on the horizon, marking another year of Austin's most unique mobile music festival.

What is the Secret Show?
Presented annually by East Austin’s favorite vegan coffee hub, Dear Diary Coffee, the Secret Show is part group bike ride, part hidden festival, and total mystery.
Instead of buying a ticket and showing up to a brick-and-mortar storefront, the event unfolds in stages:
The Meet-Up & Ride: Concertgoers gather at a designated meeting point with their bicycles.
The Guided Journey: Led by ride leaders, the group takes a casual, scenic bike cruise through the city, heading toward a classified location.
The Destination: The ride ends deep in a secluded wooded area, transformed for one night only into a raw, completely intimate pop-up stage lit by ambient lights.
The Elements of the Night
What started years ago as small community rides has grown into a highly anticipated annual tradition, keeping the original "Keep Austin Weird" spirit alive and well.
A Mystery Lineup: True to its name, you won't know which local musicians, songwriters, or performers are on the bill until you unpack your gear in the woods.
Community-First Atmosphere: The event brings together distinct pockets of Austin culture—the vibrant cycling community, local music lovers, and the East Austin indie crowd.
Leave No Trace: It’s an immersive, off-grid experience. Attendees pack in their own blankets, snacks, and refreshments, and pack everything right back out under the stars.
